This week's prompt takes its cue from today's poem, Judith H. Montgomery's "Breastbone Ode." Write a poem that celebrates a body part, particularly one that is not often the subject of literature or song (so no hearts, eyes, lips, bums, breasts, or legs, unless you do something really different with any of those overdone topics).
Besides Judy's wonderful poem, read these other poems for inspiration:
"I Sing the Body Electric" by Walt Whitman
"Homage to My Hips" by Lucille Clifton
"Ode to Fat" by Ellen Bass
"Anodyne" by Yusef Komunyakaa
"Ode to My Right Knee" by Rita Dove
"Cancer Winter" by Marilyn Hacker
"Face Lift" by Sylvia Plath
"The Ecstasy" by John Donne
"Ode to My Feet" by Laura Davies Foley
